Adams County,
Colorado,
United States. As of 2005, the city is estimated to have a total population of 11,706.

Federal Heights is located at (39.866085, -105.014160).

square miles (4.7
km²), all of it land.
Demographics

census of 2000, there were 12,065 people, 5,125 households, and 3,023 families residing in the city. The

The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.97.
In the city the population was spread out with 24.9% under the age of 18, 12.8% from 18 to 24, 31.6% from 25 to 44, 18.2% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 95.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.4 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $33,750, and the median income for a family was $38,468. Males had a median income of $31,054 versus $25,195 for females. The
per capita income for the city was $16,801. About 9.2% of families and 11.2% of the population were below the
poverty line, including 16.5% of those under age 18 and 3.7% of those age 65 or over.
